    Training

    When the employer entrusts a worker with the performance of a task, he shall take into account the worker's capabilities with regard to well-being at work.

    The employer shall ensure that each worker receives sufficient and appropriate training in the well-being of workers in the performance of their work, specifically geared to their workstation or function.

    This training must be adapted to the evolution of risks and the appearance of new risks and be repeated periodically if necessary.

    The costs of the training may not be charged to the workers. It is given during working time.

    Instructions

    The employer shall give appropriate instructions to workers and establish accompanying measures to ensure that these instructions are reasonably complied with.

    The employer shall take appropriate measures to ensure that only workers who have received adequate instructions have access to areas of serious and specific danger.

    Members of the hierarchy should:

    • check that the allocation of tasks has been carried out in such a way that the various tasks are performed by workers who have the necessary skills and have received the necessary training and instructions for this purpose;
    • monitor compliance with the instructions that must be given under legislation concerning the well-being of workers in the performance of their work.

    The member of the hierarchy designated by the employer and responsible for welcoming each new worker signs a document showing that the necessary information and instructions concerning well-being at work have been provided.
